Life’s journey is not to arrive at the grave safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, totally worn out, shouting ‘Holy shit…what a ride!’

personality test..

Passionate

You are in touch with your emotions, and sometimes you react before you think. The good news: you don’t tamp down your feelings. The bad news: you sometimes say or do things that you later wish you could take back.

You do not live your life on an even keel; you do not go for long periods without experiencing some mood swings.
Impulsive

You trust your your instincts. What others may see as rash behavior is, for you, simply going with your gut. Individuals with a high score on the “impulsive” trait tend to try new, sometimes outrageous, things.

You are not timid. For you, spending time microscopically examining the pros and cons of every decision means never getting anything accomplished.
Original

You are constantly coming up with new ideas. For you, the world as it exists is just a jumping-off place; what’s going on inside your mind is often more interesting than what’s going on outside.

You don’t feel that the road to success is to be a realist and stick to the program; you never stop yourself from coming up with new ideas or telling the world what you’re thinking about.
Warm

You have a genuine interest in other people. You’re a natural host, and are always thinking about how you can increase the happiness of those around you. When friends have problems or are in trouble, you’re usually the first person they turn to for aid and comfort. Scoring high on the “warm” trait suggests that you are among those who enjoy domestic activities — doing things around the house — and are enthusiastic about charitable work, helping others, and making the world a better place.

You don’t always say exactly what you’re thinking; you don’t like the idea of causing anyone pain because of your criticism.
Sympathetic

You have a knack for knowing what’s going on in the hearts and minds of those around you, without their having to tell you explicitly. People tend to turn to you with their problems because they know you care, and that you will likely offer good advice and a helping hand.

You do not feel that people with sad stories are just looking for attention, or have brought their problems upon themselves.
Loose

You feel that a clean, orderly desk is the sign of a person who doesn’t have enough to do. Schedules and “to do” lists feel stifling; you thrive on a sense that anything goes, and know that the world won’t end if you don’t clean up after finishing a job.

You don’t need to know that everything is in its place; it is not empowering to you to feel that the world around you is neat and organized. Mowing down every item on your “to do” list, every day, does not bring you joy.
Reckless

You tend to give in to your impulses and indulge your cravings. Rather than fight your emotions, you often do what comes naturally, which means occasionally overdoing it, sometimes even embarrassing yourself.

You are not good at resisting temptation and avoiding overindulgence; you are not the kind of person who doesn’t regret anything you said or did.
Accessible

You’re comfortable expressing yourself in words and actions, with no self-censorship. You believe that if someone doesn’t like what they see it’s not your problem, but theirs. A high score on the “accessible” trait suggests that you have a lot of friends, socialize often, and enjoy rap/hip-hop music.

You don’t see the need to keep your thoughts to yourself, or to have a zone of privacy that encompasses only yourself and a small circle of friends and relatives.
Understanding

You are willing to take the time to find out what’s going on with other people, especially if they’re in distress. You’re a good listener, you don’t criticize, and you offer unbiased, respectful, honest advice when it’s requested. With a high score on the “understanding” trait, it is likely that you are enthusiastic about charitable work, helping others, and making the world a better place.

You don’t feel the need to impose your standards on others or say things that, even though true, cause pain.
Scrupulous

You are an honest, fair person. You don’t lie or cheat to get ahead. You treat others with respect and hope for the same in return.

You do not feel that you are above the rules that everyone else follows; you are definitely not willing to do whatever it takes to get ahead.

I have hashimoto’s with some goiters on my thyroid, i’m just wondering why you had to get your thyroid removed. Do you feel different without it?

I had an actual tumor in my thyroid around 4 cm. I had a fine needle biopsy( which has 3 outcomes; 1)the tumor is malignant 2) it is benign 3) Inconclusive) and it was inconclusive. I had to go to a few doctors until someone finally explained to me that I did not have a goiter and that it was in fact a tumor. Thus, I had to get it removed so the biopsy could be done of the tissue around the tumor and the thyroid. The results showed that I had follicular carcinoma which is a form of thyroid cancer.( people don’t usually die from thyroid cancer) But since this specific kind of cancer spreads through the blood I’ll have to undergo radioactive iodine therapy( because iodine is mostly absorbed by our thyroid cells it will kill them off if they have spread).due to the therapy i also had to go on an iodine reduced diet. Our body does not produced iodine it is ingested and mostly absorbed by the thyroid.
In the beginning my family and I found that goiter can sometimes be treated with an iodine fulfillment therapy( which is usually done by holistic doctors. Since you have actual goiters this might help, but obviously talk to your doctor first.)
I don’t exactly feel all that different hormonally. I have gained some weight back due to removing my thyroid which slowed down my metabolism. I am also not as hungry if ever actually ( this would have been great when I had a normally functioning metabolism right.. the weight would have flown off lol.) Due to the weight gain I have been somewhat depressed ( as in fuck I’m gaining it all back!) and I noticed this month I got extreme PMS( it was the first time after the surgery so i’m imagining that might have affected it somehow, because I was never really hormonal during aunt flo’s visits.)But the thyroid function can easily be replaced with thyroid hormones which will stabilize your t4,t3,and Tsh levels and you can lead a healthy , normal life style.( so if you need to get it removed don’t be scared. I sure was, but the surgery is a piece of cake, it also doesn’t hurt afterward at all.)

http://www.brodabarnes.org ( you can order a list of holistic doctors in your area here, the iodine fulfillment therapy is mostly done with herbs and acupuncture.) I hope that helped!! feel free to ask again if you still have questions!
From what i have read on Hashimoto’s you are probably taking hormones because of hypothyroidism anyways and you’d continue to take those but prob higher doses. If you removed your thyroid there wouldn’t be anymore more inflammations, so you would only benefit from the removal…
